Third Time a Charm?
FlashCooker On the Move - Again
First off, let me apologize to any of you who may have come by this blog or FlashCookers Wiki site expecting to see some updates.
While we have added a few things here and there, I've not issued a "New On the Grill" for several weeks. I won't bore you with all the details... just a little case of men and machines doing a good job of being bad.
While the old FlashCooker Site is still open for now, we are in the process of moving everything over to the New FlashCooker site .
Below is a piece from the main page written MarkC.

Stuff you need to get started with Flash and web multimedia
This site provides links to resources, articles on design and contributions from a wide range of general Flash users and web designers. You will also find access to products, ranked by cost and quality.

This collaborative site endeavours to produce concise and useful information relating to creating Flash and multimedia content for the web. It is aimed at general users who may have occasional or perhaps frequent need to publish their ideas, product information, tutorials or whatever.
This sort of task often falls to people who develop the content in the first place (it may be family photos, your band's promotional page or property listings for your real estate agency), rather than a specialist web developer. Bearing this in mind, you're not going to have time to have to learn (and re-learn if you're not doing it constantly) every technical detail required to put your information up so people can see it.
If you're an intermediate user who doesn't have the time to be an expert in every facet of web and multimedia, this site's for you.

Information
There is still a lot of data to move over from the original Flashcooker site, most of it being what Mark Baird has kindly collected.
Piece by piece I'll be transferring it, but if you're looking for something in a hurry, to can still access it via this link.
Note that this site requires membership to add comments, but there's no restriction on reading material. Interesting comments will be promoted to articles so others can easily find them.
If you are interested in creating an article, send a message and you will receive an author's account.
